This Member Agreement (“Agreement”) is between the Cycle Travel Club (“Company”) and you (“Member” or “CTC certified entity”). CTC Certified entities are subject to the same terms and agreement as members in addition to those agreed to at the time of certification application or renewal. In this document “Membership” is used interchangeably with “Certification” when it is applicable. By becoming a Member or a CTC Certified entity you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
Membership
To become a Member, you must be at least 13 years old and have a valid method of payment. Your membership will begin on the date you sign up and will continue until you cancel or your membership is terminated by the Company.
Membership benefits
As a Member, you are entitled to the following benefits:
CTC Membership card and member number
Discounted rates on travel services, such as flights, hotels, and rental cars
Access to exclusive travel deals and promotions
Priority customer service
Discounted rates on travel services, such as flights, hotels, and rental cars from travel partner
Access to exclusive travel deals and promotions from travel partners
Other benefits as determined by the Company and described on the Join the Club! page.
Membership benefits are determined and limited by your membership tier.
Membership fees
There is an annual membership fee of varying by member tier:
Basic Member: $149 / yr
VIP Member: $399 / yr
The membership fee will be automatically charged to your credit card or method of payment at the beginning of each membership year. A notification of automatic renewal may not be sent preceding this renewal charge. Refunds will not be granted for any accidental purchase of any tier of membership.
Canceling your membership
You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting Cycle Travel Club or directly through your account subscription manager. If you cancel your membership before the end of your membership year, you will not receive a refund of your membership fee, and you will still receive paid club member benefits in accordance with your member tier until expiration of the billing period. Once the period is over, youre account will be downgraded to a free membership.
A member may downgrade their membership at any time by contacting Cycle Travel Club or directly through their account subscription manager. If you downgrade your membership before the end of your membership year, you will not receive a refund for the difference in price, and you will still receive club benefits of your previous tier until the end of the billing cycle. Once the period is over, your account will be downgraded to the selected tier.
Termination of membership
We at Cycle Travel Club strive to create a safe and welcoming online community for our members and certified vendors. We may terminate your membership at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:
Failure to pay your membership fee
Violation of the terms of this Agreement
Engaging in fraudulent or abusive activity
Profane language or hate speech
Posting inappropriate or explicit content
Posting negative content about a fellow member or certified entity and other forms of cyber-bullying
Posting content owned by another member or business without their approval
These reasons are not limited to actions on the cycletravelclub.com and the Cycle Travel App, but also apply to in-person behavior (such as on a cycling tour), or by means of any other platforms or forms of electronic communications. Definitions and interpretations of the reasons above are decided by us and at our discretion on a situational basis.

Your rights and responsibilities as a Member
As a Member, you have the following rights and responsibilities:
You have the right to use the Company’s travel services and benefits.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information to the Company.
You are responsible for complying with the terms of this Agreement and the Company’s policies and procedures.
Limitation of liability
The Company is not liable for any damages that you may incur as a result of your use of the Company’s travel services, cycling routes, website, or other benefits. This includes any damages or injuries incurred while on an “Official Cycle Travel Club Tour” or any Cycle Travel Club hosted event.
Governing law and jurisdiction
This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising out of this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and arbitration of the state and federal courts located in California.
Entire agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings between the parties, whether written or oral.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision will be struck from this Agreement and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
No waiver of any provision of this Agreement will be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.
Notices
All notices and other communications under this Agreement will be in email or writing and will be deemed to have been duly given when delivered in person, upon the first business day following deposit in the United States mail, postage prepaid, certified or registered, return receipt requested, addressed as follows:

or to such other address as either party may designate in writing from time to time.
Counterparts
This Agreement may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which will be deemed an original, but all of which together will constitute one and the same instrument.
Your privacy and personal information
The Privacy Policy and details regarding your personal information and data is described above.
Marketing and email opt out
You have the right to opt out of all marketing emails; this can be done in the Notification Preferences section of your account.
Changes to the Agreement
If we make any changes to this Agreement, all active members will be notified of such changes regardless of their notification settings and email preferences.
